Bell & Evans RWA Chicken
Adams has been in partnership with Bell & Evans since 1990. Bell & Evans is known for producing high-quality chicken, and there are several reasons why they are called “The Excellent Chicken!”
Bell & Evans Raised Without Antibiotic (RWA) chickens are raised on a vegetarian diet without antibiotics or hormones. They are allowed to roam freely and are given access to plenty of fresh air and clean water. This results in healthier and happier chickens, which in turn produces better-tasting meat. They take great care in the processing of their chickens. They use a unique method of slow air-chilling, which helps to preserve the natural juices and flavor of the meat. This also ensures that the chicken is tender and not tough.
Bell & Evans is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. They have implemented a number of initiatives to reduce waste, conserve resources and minimize their environmental impact. They are transparent about their production practices, which helps to build trust with consumers. They provide detailed information about their farming methods, processing and ingredients, so consumers can make informed choices.
Bell & Evans Organic Chicken
Bell & Evans Organic Chickens have been raised on organic feed, without the use of antibiotics or growth hormones, and in accordance with organic farming standards. Bell & Evans Organic chicken is certified organic by the USDA, meaning that it meets strict regulations for organic production.
The industry-leading processing practices used by Bell & Evans for their Raised Without Antibiotic chickens extend also to their Organic Chickens.
The leaders at Bell & Evans avoid complacency by always looking forward, imagining and implementing improvements to their processes in pursuit of consistently providing an excellent chicken for our customers in the Hudson Valley. In all they do, they do the right way!
Adams Farmstand Chicken
Adams Farmstand Chicken is produced by Springer Mountain Farms, a family-owned chicken producer in Baldwin, Georgia. Like Bell and Evans, Adams Farmstand chickens are raised without antibiotics. This means that the chickens are healthier and the meat is free from any antibiotic residues.
Adams Farmstand chickens are raised in a cage-free environment, which means they have more space to move around and engage in natural behaviors. They are certified by the nonprofit organization Humane Farm Animal Care, which means that the chickens are raised in a humane and ethical manner.
Adams Farmstand chickens are traceable back to the farm where they were raised. This provides consumers with transparency and accountability in the food production process. Our Adams Farmstand chicken is a high-quality, healthy and delicious alternative to Bell & Evans.
Farmer Focus Organic Chicken
Farmer Focus Organic Chicken is produced by a group of independent family farms located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. The brand is known for its commitment to sustainable farming practices and high animal welfare standards. The chickens raised by Farmer Focus are certified organic, which means they are raised without the use of antibiotics, GMOs or synthetic pesticides. The birds are also given access to outdoor pastures and are raised on a diverse diet of organic grains and forage, which helps to promote their health and well-being.
Farmer Focus Organic Chicken works closely with its network of small family farms that use organic and humane farming practices. They provide support and resources to help them succeed. They also support local communities by creating jobs and promoting sustainable agriculture.

Adams is committed to ensuring food security and accessibility. Using a holistic approach which takes into account not only the availability and affordability of food but also its nutritional value and impact on health and the environment, we carefully select our Grade A chicken from producers who support sustainable and healthy food systems.
These producers are primarily located in the “Delmarva Peninsula”, a region located on the east coast of the United States that includes parts of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
