I wouldn't say work...to be honest there's been some days that challenges arise. However, when a challenge arises there are no better leaders or in this case, brothers to turn to. Their support, compassion, trust, willingness, and encouragement are just some of the traits that make working for them, with them, and by them has made this job something I never thought I would've seen myself doing. Because of them, it is one of the very reasons I have spent over half my life working here at Adams.
Adams meets all my sales and customer service values. Since I've been in the Sweet Shop I've gained loyal repeat customers, department teammates who are supportive and knowledgeable, and associates from other departments who are professional, engaging, and always happily help. I am so grateful for finding a spot here at Adams Middletown where all my best qualities as a salesperson are appreciated. I feel like I found a work family. Truly.
I tell customers and friends that working in the Polyhouse is the best retirement job there is! I've worked most of my career in family-owned companies there is something special about knowing the person who signed your paycheck. I work with a great team and get support from other departments. If I were younger, I think Adams would be a great place to work. For someone just starting out there are so many avenues of internal promotion to build a career.
