When to Use Bulb-tone in planting
Use Bulb-tone when planting bulbs in spring or fall. It can also be applied after flowers bloom to help established bulbs rebuild energy for the next growing season.
For fall-planted bulbs like tulips, daffodils, crocus, and hyacinths, apply Bulb-tone at planting time. This helps support root development before winter.
For spring-planted bulbs and summer bloomers, apply when planting. Some bulbs, such as dahlias and gladioli, can be fed monthly during the growing season.
You can also feed established bulbs after bloom. This is the time when the leaves are still working. The foliage collects energy and sends it back into the bulb.
