Sweet and Sour Shrimp Kebabs

  • 1 large Green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large Red onion, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3/4 lb Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 thick slices Fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2/3 cup Sweet and sour sauce, plus more for serving


  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. If using wooden skewers, soak at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  3. Alternately thread bell pepper, shrimp, pineapple and onion onto 8 (12-inch) skewers.
  4. Grill skewers 4 minutes per side or until shrimp turn pink, basting with sweet and sour sauce throughout.
  5. Transfer skewers to a platter, and serve with additional sweet and sour sauce.
