Loaded BBQ Burgers


  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 3 tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns, sliced and toasted
  • 1 cup prepared coleslaw or shredded cabbage
  • Toppings (optional): pickle slices, tomato slices, mustard, mayonnaise


  1. In a small bowl combine chili powder, paprika, garlic salt and pepper.
  2. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high (350°F to 400°F). In a large bowl combine beef, chili powder mixture and barbecue sauce. Shape into 4 patties about 3/4-inch thick.
  3. Grill patties, covered, 4 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Place burgers in buns, top with coleslaw and other desired toppings, and serve.
