Easy Tofu Scramble

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs Olive oil
  • 14.5 oz Firm tofu
  • 2 tbs Nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Kala Namak (black salt)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbs Non-dairy milk

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the tofu to the pan and mash with a fork or potato masher. Cook, stirring frequently, until the water from the tofu is mostly gone, 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the nutritional yeast, salt, turmeric and garlic powder. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes. Continue cooking, stirring less often, until golden spots form on parts of the tofu.
  4. Stir the milk into the pan and serve immediately.
