Ingredients
- 3 ripe Avocados
- 1/2 cup Fresh blueberries
- 1 Jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 2 Limes, juiced
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/3 cup Red onion, finely diced
- 2 tbs Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Mash avocados: Halve and pit 3 ripe avocados. Scoop flesh into a bowl and mash to your preferred texture, chunky or smooth.
- Add lime & season: Stir in 2 limes, juiced, and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well to prevent browning.
- Fold in mix-ins: Gently fold in blueberries, minced jalapeño, red onion, and cilantro. Be careful not to crush all the blueberries; some whole ones give great pops of flavor.
- Taste & serve: Taste and adjust salt or lime. Garnish with a few extra blueberries and serve immediately with tortilla chips.
NOTES
For more heat, leave some jalapeño seeds in. The blueberries add a surprising sweetness that balances the heat beautifully. Best served fresh!
