Apple Gruyere Spread
- 8 oz Cream cheese, at room temperature
- 4 oz Gruyère cheese, grated
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Fresh chives, chopped
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- Beat the cream cheese until soft.
- Gently mix in the Gruyère, mustard and chives until well combined.
- Grate the apples, with their peels, directly into the cream cheese mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
