Apple Gruyere Spread

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 4 oz Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 Granny Smith apples


  1. Beat the cream cheese until soft.
  2. Gently mix in the Gruyère, mustard and chives until well combined.
  3. Grate the apples, with their peels, directly into the cream cheese mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
