About Our Kingston Supermarket & Grocery
Opened in 1981, our Kingston store was the first extension of Adams beyond Poughkeepsie. Conveniently located at 1560 Ulster Avenue in Lake Katrine, just north of downtown Kingston, our grocery store is easily accessible from Route 9W and the New York State Thruway (I-87). We proudly serve customers from Kingston, Lake Katrine, Lincoln Park, Ruby, Saugerties, Woodstock, and the surrounding area. Nearby attractions include the Hudson Valley Mall and Kingston Point Park, making Adams a favorite stop for local shoppers. One unique feature of our Kingston location is our expanded housewares department, offering everything you need for your home.

My wife likes shopping at Adams because everything is super fresh with the best produce outside a farmers market. The staff are pleasant. We suggest coming here if you are in the area.
Garden Show was gorgeous, the selection was fantastic. Picked up plenty of seeds, gardening gear, and a few new leafy friends. I always come here for the amazing variety of chocolate, produce, and specialty items I can't find in most grocery stores.
The only place to buy groceries for conscious eaters. Farm to table health is a thing. And the fresh variety of foods are just yummy!

Visited day before Thanksgiving, and even though busy and full of shoppers, received individual attention in locating pre-cut, fresh cut rutabagas! I was in and out very quickly. Love this place! Thank you Adams 🙂

Great store. Fresh produce reasonably priced. Gluten-free breads, crackers, and other goodies. Lots of fresh cheeses. I'm vegetarian and gluten-free, and I was in heaven shopping here. Very busy place but ample parking.

Adams has so many different things like coconut whip cream in a can or, French vanilla marshmallows in a bag.... so much awesomeness! 😋 My favorite is their shrimp corn chowder, totally serious!

In the mid-Hudson Valley this is our go-to grocery for the best quality. Great fresh veggies and fruit, butcher shop, fish market plus a first rate cheese bar, delicious bakery, as well as hot food bar, bakery, and candy section. Not to mention, this is also a go-to nursery location! Well worth a visit!

Great family run grocery store with thoughtful staff, excellent quality produce, meats and cheeses! They also have fresh made dips and spreads and a variety of delicious hot food bar items and a great variety in their salad bar!! Anytime I am in the Kingston area, we always stop in to Adams!!
