About Our Poughkeepsie Supermarket & Grocery
Our Poughkeepsie store is, literally, the farmstand that grew into five super farm markets. Built on the site of the original Adams farm, it started out as a small stand, eventually became a barn, then began its first incarnation as a full-fledged supermarket. After many expansions and renovations, Poughkeepsie stands proudly as the cornerstone Adams supermarket, serving the heart of Dutchess County.
Conveniently located at 765 Dutchess Turnpike in Poughkeepsie, NY, the store is easy to reach from Route 44 and just a short drive from the Taconic State Parkway. It’s a central Hudson Valley shopping destination, welcoming customers from Poughkeepsie, Arlington, Hyde Park, Spackenkill, Red Oaks Mill, and Fairview.
Unique to Poughkeepsie
In addition to the departments found at every Adams location, the Poughkeepsie store is home to:
It is also home to Mark Adams Greenhouses, a five-acre greenhouse complex where bedding plants, perennials and poinsettias are grown for sale at all Adams locations.
