Ralph A. and Mary Adams buy Fairacre Farm in Poughkeepsie, NY on the old Pleasant Valley Road at the top of Brickyard Hill.


The farm is successful enough to sell produce at a central market in Clinton Square in Poughkeepsie, which was frequented by local grocers.
