Ingredients
- Coarse sea salt
- Chili-lime seasoning
- Tequila Triple Sec
- Blue curacao
- Blood orange sparkling water
- Blood orange juice
- Pineapple juice
- Agave syrup
- Grapefruit juice
- Freshly-squeezed lime juice
- Lime Wedges
- Jalapeno slices
- Bucket of ice
Instructions
Classic Margarita
- Moisten the rim of a glass with a lime wedge. Sprinkle salt onto a plate. Lightly dip the moistened rim into the salt.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with fresh ice. Add 2 oz tequila, 1.5 oz triple sec, and 1 oz lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
- Strain margarita into the chilled glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
Spicy Pineapple Margarita
- Sprinkle chili lime seasoning onto a plate. Moisten the rim of a glass with lime wedge. Press the moistened rim into the seasoning. Fill the glass with ice.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with 2 oz tequila and 2 jalapeno slices. Use a muddler to crush the peppers. Add 4 oz pineapple juice, ¾ oz triple sec, and ¾ oz lime juice to the shaker and add a cup of ice. Seal and shake vigorously until outside is frosted, 10- 15 seconds.
- Strain margarita into the glass and garnish with remaining jalapeno slice, if desired.
Blood Orange Margarita
- Combine .5 oz tequila, 1.5 oz triple sec, 2.5 oz blood orange sparkling water, juice of 1 blood orange, and juice of ½ a lime in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice.
- Shake well and strain into margarita glasses.
Caribbean Blue Margarita
- Moisten rim of a cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle salt on a plate; dip rim in salt. Fill glass with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 1.5 oz tequila, 1 oz blue curacao and .5 oz lime juice. Fill with ice; cover and shake until frost forms on the outside of the shaker, 15-20 seconds. Strain into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
Grapefruit Margarita
- Stir together ¼ c grapefruit juice, ¼ c lime juice, 1 oz triple sec, 1 oz tequila, and ¾ tsp agave syrup in a pitcher, and mix with ice cubes. Strain the cocktail into a margarita glass.
