Our Recent Projects
Regional Food Bank
Thanks to the kindness of our customers, our November 2025 Register Round Up Campaign raised $13,937.59 for the Regional Food Bank. Adams was proud to contribute the remaining amount, bringing the total to $16,000. These contributions are helping provide nutritious meals to children, seniors, and families across our region, supporting food rescue and distribution efforts that reach thousands of neighbors in need. Together, every small act of kindness at the register added up to a truly meaningful impact—and we’re incredibly grateful to our community for making it possible.
Breast Cancer Options
Thank You for Your Generosity! All funds raised from our October 2025 round-up were used to support Breast Cancer Options, a local non-profit based in Kingston, NY, providing advocacy, support, and education for individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.
American Red Cross
Thank You for Your Generosity! In August of 2025, our register round-up supported the American Red Cross.
Paws of Our Community
Thank You for Your Generosity! In July of 2025, our register round-up supported some great local pet charities including: Hudson Valley Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Ravensbeard Wildlife Center, Hudson Valley SPCA, BluePath Service Dogs, Pets Alive
Family Services Register Round-ups
Thank You for Your Generosity! In May of 2025, our register round-up supported Family Services, which helped us raise $5,492.15.
American Heart Association Register Round-ups
Thank You for Your Generosity! We started our round-ups this year with the American Heart Association in April. We participated in the Heart Walk on April 26th, 2025 at the Walkway over the Hudson and raised $11,202.81.
Regional Food Bank Register Round-ups
Thank You for Your Generosity! All funds raised from our round-up were used to support the Regional Food Bank in supporting the 154,000 Hudson Valley individuals that are food insecure.
Miles of Hope October 2024 Round-ups
Thank You for Your Generosity! Thanks to the incredible support you showed by rounding up your order at the registers in October, we were able to raise $16,891.85 for the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation!
July 2024 Round-ups
Thank You for Your Generosity! We are grateful for the incredible support and generosity you have shown during our Roots of Our Community Round Up Campaign this July. Your willingness to round up your purchases and donate your change will make a significant impact on our community through these charities: Dutchess Outreach « Family of Woodstock « Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh « Unshattered « Gifted Children Thanks to your contributions, we were able to raise $12,365.87! We are proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply about making a positive difference. Your contributions have not only provided financial support, but have also inspired Adams to match your donations 50 Cents on the dollar to make a new donation of $18,615.87! Thank you again for your kindness and for being the roots of our community. We are honored to have customers like you who believe in giving back. Together, we have sown the seeds of change, and we look forward to continuing this journey of making a difference with you.
Volunteering at Sparrow's Nest
Volunteering at Sparrow's Nest on Monday, 8/12/24, was a truly rewarding experience. We had a ton of fun preparing a delicious fruit salad and a fresh tomato cucumber salad, all while contributing to a great cause. Hopefully this is the first of many opportunities for Adams Employees to spend some time with great people who are doing great things for others! Check out the photos!

Special Olympics NY Polar Plunge
Each year, Adams participates in a Polar Plunge to benefit the Special Olympics of NY. All the funds raised directly support the athletes of New York State, to ensure that they can compete at no cost to themselves or their families. 2024 was the 26th anniversary of the event, and we were able to raise $38,094.95!
The athletes of the Special Olympics are an amazing group of individuals with an undoubtable passion for competition. Competing provides them with a sense of purpose and joy. With your support, we can ensure that all the positivity that comes from competing and coaching continues for years to come.

Sparrow's Nest
Adams has been a proud ally of Sparrow's Nest for many years. Register Round-ups, apparel sales and event sponsorships are some of the ways that Adams supports Sparrow's Nest in their mission to cook and deliver homemade meals to families facing a cancer diagnosis in Dutchess, Putnam and parts of Orange, Ulster and Northern Westchester counties. Founded in 2012, the charity feeds an average of 300 people each week; more than 2,000 individuals since their inception.

The American Heart Association and Adams, making hearts stronger together. Millions of people are affected by heart disease every year. Adams is committed to doing our part to help the American Heart Association in their goal to see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Each year, Team Adams participates in the Heart Walk, conducts Register Round-ups and even runs a Heart Healthy Recipe Contest to support the AHA.
