How to Cook a Spoon Roast
A roast so tender you can cut it with a spoon! Meat managers Fred Brill and Bob DeWitt are back with advice on cooking a great spoon roast.

Follow Fred’s Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Rub your roast with your seasoning of choice, such as salt, pepper, garlic or herbs.
  • Place in a shallow baking dish and add a small amount of liquid on the bottom.
  • Cook 12-15 minutes per pound, until the meat reaches around 130 degrees.
  • Let rest 15-20 minutes before slicing.
  • Enjoy!

Cooking a Perfect Leg of Lamb
Meat Managers Fred Brill and Bob DeWitt tell us how to prep and cook a leg of lamb. Perfect for Easter, or anytime!

Follow Fred’s Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Rub your leg of lamb with olive oil, crushed garlic, salt and pepper. Top it with sprigs of rosemary.
  • Place in roasting pan and cook 12-15 minutes per pound of lamb, until the meat reaches around 140 degrees.
  • Let rest 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  • Enjoy!
