From roasters like Bear Mountain Coffee, North River Roasters, Winchell Mountain, TRax, Six Depot, Chris’ Coffee, 2710 and JB Peel, we feature varietal roasts from Costa Rica, Guatemala and more. All Adams coffees are available either as the whole bean or ground to your exact specifications.
In each of our stores the tea aisle is exceptionally well stocked with fine teas from near and far. Harney & Sons Fine Teas are popular with our customers as well as the British Royals. Twinings, Pukka Tea, PG Tips, Barry’s Irish Tea, Lyons, Republic of Tea and many more. Whether your taste runs to black tea, green tea, white tea, herbals or blends, you’ll find Adams has the perfect cup to pick you up.

We get Hudson Valley gardens growing
The numbers associated with Mark Adams Greenhouses are staggering. Forty-plus years as growers of premium annual flower and vegetable plants sold in Adams four locations, five acres of greenhouses, and 100,000 tomato plants, all directly supervised by Mark and Sue Adams. Mark Adams began gardening when he was seven years old, taught by his father and grandfather. When he and Sue married, she discovered her passion for plants and plantings.

Annual plants are the primary focus of Mark Adams Greenhouses, and flowering annuals excite the eye and get attention in many yards and landscapes. Sue Adams advises that you can plant in just a small color palette, like reds or yellows, or stretch your creativity with a more adventurous color range using attractive foliage plants like trailing sweet potatoes with vibrant green foliage to fill in. A million tomatoes get their start at Adams
Mark Adams did the math one day. They raise and sell 100,000 tomato plants. If only half of them produce a normal yield of tomatoes, that’s 1,000,000 tomatoes in one season!
Fresh herbs for all seasons
A few fresh herbs grown in your garden, in a pot or on a windowsill, can bring a huge flavor burst to so many dishes, create a soothing healthful herbal tea, or scent your home and bathtub. Basil is not just for summer; a pot on a sunny windowsill year-round will give you subtle seasoning for Italian or Thai dishes and many other cuisines. Grow your own peppermint for a delicious herbal tea. You can grow yourself a steady supply of parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme with very little effort and maintenance.

When you walk by an Adams Flower Shop, an array of colors, shapes and scents reaches out to call you inside. Many of our customers will choose different selections of cut flowers to arrange at home. Many more customers use our own store-designed arrangements as special gifts for friends, family, their clients and customers. Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day are the biggest days of our year, but every event has special meaning to our customers–and to us.
Our Flower Shops design the flowers for hundreds of weddings, annually. We create even larger numbers of sympathy displays, party and special event floral arrangements and motifs. Adams is the busiest and most original providers of unique flower arrangements in the region.

That’s why we ask you to make a wedding planning appointment. About one to two hours with one of our talented floral designers is a good period of time to discuss your wants and needs. It’s also smart to come in with your budget in mind. Bring pictures of arrangements that have caught your eye. Pinterest is a terrific resource for weddings. While you are here we can pull together some arrangement examples so you have a good idea of how your flowers will look on that special day.
On your wedding day…
The Adams floral designer you worked with and a driver arrive with your flowers in a cooled delivery van wherever the bride is getting ready. The designer and bride review the bouquets–making sure everything is perfect. Then, the designer attends the venues for ceremony and reception, placing the decorations and, usually, helping the groom’s party with their boutonnières.

Adams Sweet Shops are each a bit different, reflecting the tastes and requests of customers like you.
