Adams Fairacre Farms will be limiting the amount of customers in all its stores beginning Saturday and leading up to Thanksgiving, according to a Facebook post.
All stores will be using international building code guidelines to cap its in-store occupancy at 50%.
This capacity will be in effect until Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. Every store will be closed Thursday.
“We recommend shopping one per family, if possible,” the post said.
In a separate post, Adams said customers can do three things to help during the stores’ busiest time of the year:
- Shop early and stock up on holiday essentials now
- Shop after 6 p.m. for maximum social distancing
- One family member from each household does the shopping
Adams has four locations, in Poughkeepsie, Wappinger, Newburgh and Kingston.
