We've Broken Ground on Our Fourth Store!

Construction is now underway for a fourth Adams Fairacre Farms in the Town of Wappinger. The 12.6 acre site is located on Route 9, just north of MacFarlane Road and south of Old Hopewell Road. Site work began in March 2010, with a projected store opening of summer/fall 2011.

The approximately 70,000 sq ft store will include all the great features people enjoy in our existing stores.

We are proud that in addition to serving the Southern Dutchess community...

• Approximately 3.5 acres of the site will be preserved as wetland forest.

• The project will generate over 250,000 employment hours for local construction workers, plus another 100,000 construction and fabrication hours off-site.

• The new store will create approximately 200 new jobs, both full and part time.

• The project includes adding a new traffic light to a dangerous intersection on Route 9.

• The project also includes extending the Water and Sewer lines for future users on other properties not associated with the Adams project.
