Quick & Easy Beef Chili

- Cooking Time: 15 minutes
- 1lb GROUND BEEF
- 1 medium ONION, chopped
- 1 GREEN PEPPER, chopped
- 2 (15-16oz) cans DICED TOMATOES
- 2 (15-16oz) cans KIDNEY BEANS, drained
- 3 tablespoons CHILI POWDER
- 1 teaspoon GROUND CUMIN
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a stock pot, brown meat, stirring often. Drain out most of the residual grease.
Add onion and green pepper to the pot and sauté over medium heat until soft, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining (non-garnish) ingredients, stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve with any or all of the recommended garnishes.
Chopped jalapeno, chopped onion, shredded cheese, sour cream, fresh chopped cilantro
