Steve Adams, a store owner, said the expansion is being done to make more room for its delicatessen and bakery area. Those sections of the 57,000-square-foot store gets “congested” at times, he added.
“We needed to relieve some of that,” Adams said last week.
The expansion work should be completed by Nov. 1, he said.
One addition totals 1,040 square feet for the bakery at the front northwest section of the store, Dutton said. The other one, an additional 1,160 square feet of space, will add to the deli area at the rear northeast, he added.
