Plant thyme in your herb garden, at the edge of a walkway, in between paving stones or in containers.
Creeping lemon thyme releases a delicious lemon aroma when stepped on. Thyme is perfect for containers, either alone or in a combination with other herbs or even flowers, which adds texture to a mixed display.
Plant thyme in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Easy to grow, thyme needs little care, except for a regular light pruning after the first year. Pinching the tips keeps the plants bushy. Cut back your thyme by 1/3 in the spring.Go to Gardening Information →
